Easy to install and I like the thermostatic control

This was pretty easy to install (though it's the second one I have installed recently). I like this remote as the temperature is displayed on the remote itself. The included wall cover plate is nice and looks pretty good... though the remote is an odd one: it's 100% functional and works well but absolutely isn't the most attractive remote in the world.

Ability to turn on/off the fireplace from comfort of the couch is great

The **Fireplace Basic Remote On/Off Control System Kit** is a user-friendly device designed for convenience of controlling gas fireplaces. The system's straightforward setup involves connecting two terminals to the TH and TH/TP terminals of the millivolt valve, making it accessible for users with basic DIY skills. The remote control allow users to easily turn their gas logs on or off and set the desired temperature from the comfort of my seat. The kit comes complete with a remote, receiver, wall plate, and the necessary wiring to connect the receiver to the valve, ensuring everything needed for installation without having to go buy anything extra.Overall, this remote control system kit is a great addition for my home, offering ease of use.

Works well but...

This replaces my Uber expensive Regency wall remote receiver but .. the cable this comes with is short so you have to splice the old and new cable. Otherwise works perfectly.
