RECEIVER
• Pre-programmed for quick Installation
• Low batterie indication
• Press to open the batterie door, install the • batteries
• From the receiver you can turn On and Off the fireplace by pushing the On/ Off gear.
• To use with the Transmitter push the gear into the Remote position
• Receiver connects to any standard millivolt gas valve system
TRANSMITTER
• Remote control has a Touch Key Press and a yellow backlight for better vision at night
• Remote allows you to turn your gas logs on/off or set the temperature you want
ASSEMBLY
Connect the two terminals to the TH and TH/TP terminals of the millivolt valve
Pairing :
1- From the receiver push the gear into Remote position , led light will flash and the receiver will make a beep sound .
2- Press the power button from the remote , the fireplace will light on ,that means pairing successfully.
(NOTE: if pairing unsuccessful, repeat step 1and 2)
Important Safety Information
• Always check the appliance home owner’s manual for additional information, or warnings regarding accessory installation before connecting this remote control system
• This remote control system is designed for use with a millivolt or 24V gas valve system
• Do not use this remote control system on applications with voltages above 24 Volts AC/DC and 1 amp current
• Do not short (or jumper) across the gas valve terminals to test the remote control installation
• Do not use 2 or more remote control systems in the same area , as they will communicate with each other . This may cause the appliance to not work properly
• NOTE : Due to sensitive temperature monitoring components in the transmitter , allow the transmitter 15 minutes to stabilize the room temperature before accurate room temperature are displayed

Remote just quit work, will not turn on or off fireplace. Was working great and than just stop. Tried to reconnect , still won’t work.Contacted seller and they are sending new unit, great service
If you want to get rid of a wall thermostate or replace an old remote, this fireplace remote will is ideal and easy to install. My only caviat is that the connecting wire and instructions does not identify how to connect to what pole. However it's just and matter of reversing the wire if it does not work. All in all, I am very satisfied with this purchase and definately recommend it.
Note: After using the system for several months I have ammended this review. The product works but the receiver seems to drain the batteries very quickly (require replacing after one month). So you need to re-pair the transmitter and receiver on a too frequent basis.I bought this system to replace an ACUMEN gas fireplace control setup that stopped working. It required frequent re-synching between the remote and the receiver and often took several attempts before it worked. This New-Style system was very simple to install and worked perfectly right away. I appreciate that there is feedback when the receiver and remote are synched which was not a feature on my previous system.My only complaint is with the receiver controls. They are not intuitive to use. It seems like the designers wanted to create a minimalist design that was similar to an iPod or iPhone in apprearance and then decided on which touch control functions to assign to the layout that they came up with as an afterthought. Why is it necessary to take up a button to switch between deg F and deg C when it could be used for a more commonly used function? Also, why bother having a vibrate feature when you press a button? The icons and text labels for the control buttons are very small and printed in reflective silver ink on a white background which makes them difficult to read in low light levels. Other than these minor criticisms we are very happy with this item. You will get used to the idiosynchrasies of the remote control functions. The main thing is, it works reliably (when the batteries aren't discharged).
The battery pack pops out on its own. So it won't stay connected and my fireplace won't stay on. But customer service took care of the situation quickly
*Edit* I was offered a full refund for my device. Which I appreciate.Purchased in April of 2024, Now in Dec when put to use, device goes through batteries like crazy, in remote and low voltage controller. Currently after all the troubleshooting steps, the remote and controller unit will not communicate. New quality batteries in both units. Stuck with using the switch on the controller to manage my natural gas fireplace.
