LEARNING TRANSMITTER TO RECEIVER
1-The transmitter privacy (DIP) Switches are preset at the factory.
Setting the 4 bits DIP Switches on transmitter to select a security code
2- Put the receiver slide switch to “REMOTE” location. Using a small screwdriver or end of a paper clip gently press and hold the ‘LEARN button on the receiver to accept the transmitter security code upon initial use, when you release the LEARN button the receiver will emit an audible 3 “beep” sounds
3- After the receiver emits 3 “beep” sounds. Press the transmitter “ON “or “OFF” button and release at once. The receiver will emit several beeps indicating that the transmitter’s code has been accepted into the receiver.
Note: If matching failed from the the first attempt please repeat step 1-3

La manette pour foyer au gaz est très bien. C’est un bon produit générique offert à une fraction du prix. J’ai un foyer au gaz de la marque Napoléon, et la manette du fabricant coûte de 2 à 3 fois plus cher que celle-ci.L’installation est vraiment simple et les instructions sont claires et précises. L’écran est rétroéclairé, ce qui facilite grandement la lecture, et un bip sonore confirme que la commande a bien été reçue. Je pensais que ce son me dérangerait, mais finalement je trouve cette option pratique et sécuritaire.La portée de réception entre la manette et le boîtier est très bonne. La manette est en plastique de bonne qualité.Le seul point négatif concerne la précision du thermomètre en mode de température automatique. J’ai testé avec deux thermomètres placés à proximité, et celui de la manette manque de précision pour l’arrêt et le redémarrage du foyer.
Great replacement for my Jotul sebago 400 stove
This fireplace remote worked perfectly. I spent over $100 on one of the bigger known name brands for another fireplace. This one you can actually see the screen being it’s lite blue with black numbers instead of dark grey with black numbers like the more expensive ones. I highly recommend this remote if you need to replace one for your gas fireplace. And it’s less than half the price of the big brands.
Greatest thing since sliced bread! Now I can go to bed and not have to worry about my logs getting too hot.
unit functions just fine, as good as my original set-up. but I should not have had such difficulty getting control knob to fit correctly. had to slightly modify parts, for me no big deal. but for someone less able to figure things out? would be a problem. but I am happy with it's operation/function.

Easy to install works like a charm but poor battery life.
This was to replace a Napoleon remote which was garbage. We have now used this all winter with no problems.

Easy instalation worked first time, instructions really easy to follow, I hooked it up as soon as it arrived, settle my temperature and its been working ever since, I would recommend taking batteries out once you stop using it for the summer and start with fresh batteries each winter.

Plugged right onto my valve no problem. Has a good range too. A perfect alternative to the very expensive remotes that the dealers sell.
Used this to replace a considerably more expensive (identical) remote from a local fireplace company. Same quality remote box, remote looks the same, same everything. Wired up the same was as the existing box was, and worked perfectly for a fraction of the price. Was used on a jotul free standing gas fireplace. Thermostat setting seems very accurate too. Can’t speak to battery life of the remote, so far it has not been an issue.
My fireplace is 22 years old. I purchased this installed it and it is working just like the original. I recommend this product.

Should be 4.5 star rating. Everything is perfect looks exactly the same as the Skytech I am replacing.The only con are the wire leads from control box should be at least 4 inches longer. A little tight attaching to my heat and slow tiara gas stove.Easily set up and lynched with the remote. It looks like the same instructions as the sky tech. This was way more reasonable priced then buying a replacement model from the gas stove fireplace store that I purchased the gas stove from.Who would have thought Amazon had a replacement!!
Better quality than original one
Ordered this remote for my 25 year old Desa VYM27PR propane see-through logset. Worked perfectly, simple to install, and I finally have a thermostat! I should have purchased it years ago. Could not be happier with The New Style store...price was fantastic and product arrived quickly. Thankful I found them!
We have a remote for our fireplace upstairs, but my office is downstairs and in the winter it gets a little chilly. After installing the remote, putting in the batteries. I now have FIRE on demand. I set the thermostat and forget it the rest of the day. Simple to install and for me a great value for the cost.
