• Settings F and C scale : Factory settings for temperature is F , to change into C , press and hold the UP button and the DOWN button on the trasmitter at the same time
• To activate the child - proof protection : Press the Mode/Set and UP buttons at the same time for 5 seconds , the lock icon will appear on the LCD screen , to deactivate the child - proof repeat the same procedure.

LEARNING TRANSMITTER TO RECEIVER
( Manufacture have done the default learning settings user can skip learning if not changed the dip switches)
-1-The transmitter privacy (DIP) Switches are preset at the factory. Setting the 4 bits DIP Switches on transmitter to select a security code. ( remote dip switches located on the side end of the remote)
-2- Put the receiver slide switch to “REMOTE” location. Using a small screwdriver or end of a paper clip gently press and hold the ‘LEARN ‘button on the receiver to accept the transmitter security code upon initial use, when you release the LEARN button the receiver will emit an audible “beep” sounds.
-3- After the receiver emits the beep” sounds. Press the transmitter Mode/Set button or press (On thermos OFF ) button of touch screen . The receiver will emit several beeps indicating that the transmitter’s code has been accepted into the receiver.
Note: If matching failed from the the first attempt please repeat step 1-3

General Information
• Always check the appliance home owner’s manual for additional information, or warnings regarding accessory installation before connecting this remote control system
• This remote control system is designed for use with a millivolt or 24V gas valve system.
• Do not use this remote control system on applications with voltages above 24 Volts AC/DC and 1 amp current.
• Do not short (or jumper) across the gas valve terminals to test the remote control installation.
NOTE : Due to sensitive temperature monitoring components in the transmitter , allow the transmitter 15 minutes to stabilize the room temperature before accurate room temperature are displayed
• Do not use 2 or more remote control systems in the same area with the same dip switch settings , as they will communicate with each other . This may cause the appliance to not work properly
• The user hand don’t close to temperature sensor location to avoid it influence the detect temperature of sensor

It works fine and fairly easy to set up. It doesn't work well on the thermostat because it varies almost 2 degrees before turning on or shutting off.

Ordered 2. First one was broken when received so they sent a replacement, very expeditiously.I installed it and it worked fine but the person I bought it for has dementia and unfortunately this control was beyond his capability to operate. If I had a reason to, I would buy it again

This gas fire place remote is a must have upgrade over the standard remote my fas fire place came with.It has a touchscreen, timer and thermostat all built in.Install was only mere minutes. Do get this if you have the basic remote setup.

Used this product for a gas fireplace. Very easy to install. A beep let's you know that the signal has been received telling you that it's on, in thermometer mode, or off. Great product with good value for the dollars spent.I would recommend this device
I used this on a Jotul Sabago gas stove, it works as it should for far less money than its competitors ! Easy to read, blue liminus background and very accurate !
I bought this to replace the Acumen remote that came with our Napoleon gas fireplace. Easy install, works great. We particularly like the touch screen display on the remote. Overall, I think it's actually better than the OEM remote it replaced. Ours was clearly a pre-opened package with visible fingerprints on the screen and repackaged items but that's a minor detail as it was otherwise in fine cosmetic and operating condition. Instructions in English only. Happy with the purchase.
Simple to install under the fireplace – just make sure to take pictures of the wire placement before you start unplugging stuff, then install the new one just like the old one was.Remote works well – works like the previous one. But looks a whole lot better. Still doesn’t look as modern as my other remotes for TV and stuff… But there don’t seem to be high-quality design fireplace remotes available on the market. Timer function is useful.
